Which charity deserves Squidoo's $3000 prize money? Well, Marine Parents of course! $3000 will go a long way toward shipping care packages to the Marines!

There were 8 charities in the running and THANKS TO YOUR VOTE, Marine Parents won Squidoo's $3000 prize money! The money will be used to ship care packages to deployed Marines on August 15th and will cover the cost of shipping nearly 300 packages!
Thank you to all who took the time to vote. Your unwavering support proved, once again: If Marine families can't get it done, who can? Ooh Rah!

There are only 8 entries TOTAL in the contest. We are 2/3 of the way there and we've got a great shot at it! The other third involves getting out the vote – which is where all of us need to jump in and help. If Marine families can't get it done, who can? Ooh Rah!
This $3000 would help the organization a whole LOT; so we really hope that our volunteers and members will rise to the occasion and help us get the word out to vote for MarineParents entry at Squidoo. The voting starts early Monday morning (July 20th) and ends Tuesday night (July 21st) at 9 PM EST.
You do NOT need to register to vote. You do NOT need to have a “lens” (webpage) built to enter the contest, but you may just get in there and discover that it is fun and easy to do. If you do decide to build a “lens” – please set the proceeds to go to paypal@MarineParents.com so we can benefit even further.
